6000 not booting
Tonight I turned on my laptop and nothing happened. No boot screen, only the power light, hard drive light along with the cap lock light(flashing) lit up.
After a few seconds the HD light went off and then the system turned off it's self off. Tried again with the power pack on, no difference. No boot screen, no sounds of any kind nothing.
It was working fine earlier in the day.
Am at a loss as to what's gone wrong. I keep my anti virus software up to date and scan the HD regularly, so I don't think I got hit with a virus. Only have 50 days left on my warranty.
Any one have any ideas before I contact dell service?

I found the problem. the B dimm was not seating in all the way. It looked like it was, but after I tried reseating the ram again the b dimm sat in tighter, the system posted and boot fine!
Thanks again for you input.
