600m BIOS A11
Yay finally a new 600m BIOS that doesn't have the gaming problems in 3D accellerated games like the A09/A10!
P.S. I am judging this based on results from Hitman:Contracts demo i will be trying HALO/BF Vietnam soon(i already own them) and will be hoping for the best!

Hello. I have a problem: The Dell support service changed the motherboard of my Inspiron 600m. Now the Bios Update doesn't run. It say "unsupporte system".
the motherboard "think" it is a "latitude" computer. I have to "force" the Bios Update. How do I do that??
thank you,
Fawsy

Thanks, but they send me the new MB with the A08 BIOS. I have to update to A11 or? where to find the 754 755 that you mention? (for the Inspiron 600m?)
The other problem is that this new MB doesn't have the Services Tag! then I can't se the admin passoword!
what should I do?
my system is an Inspiron 600m, 1.4 GHz...
thanks!

You mean to tell me that the problem of gaming on the 600M is still an issue
. This is quite incredible that Dell continues to ignore this very apparent issue
. I have totally given up on trying to play games on my 600M, but hellooo Dell, this should be getting some attention from your engineers to get this problem solved.

well... I still have the problem: How to update from A08 a A11 in a computer that thinks is a Latitud D600 and it is a Inspiron 600m.
To force the BIOS update, I need a Bootable diskette...but...
Other problem: I need to burn a Bootable CD, because I don't have Floppy Disk Drive. But the RecordNow applicacion (Sonic) ask for a system Diskette to make bootable a CD...
any ideas?
thanks friends!

yes, but I don't play with my computer, I need it to work.
I need upgrade the BIOS in order to fix the problem of reading the Service Tag, and then the problem of set the BIOS password. It only works it the BIOS is set to Inpiron 600m
And to force the Bios upgrade I need a Boot CD.
thanks

I understand that to downgrade the bios is an option to fix the gaming issue. But this still does not release Dell from it's responsability to find and fix the problem.
