8500 overheating
It's five months that I have an inspiron 8500, but since one month ago it began overheating, especially in the RAM area, so much that it's almost impossible to touch.
When it works with the battery it's not that bad, but always very hot. When plugged to the power it overheats in 5 minutes, and the fan goes almost always at the top speed without results.

You may need to clean some dust out of your fan. To do this, take it out and use a can of compressed air to clean it.
Another option is to download i8kfanGUI to regulate the fan speeds, either change the fans to always on or a scheme so that they come on earlier. That should keep them cooler. But before changing the fan settings, using fanGUI, check what temperatures the CPU, GPU, HDD, etc are getting up to and post them here, we'll see if they are within acceptable levels.

I tried to run I8kfaungui for one day, and when the computer heats it keeps in that condition.
At the moment the conditions are these:
CPU temp: 72-80 °C
GPU temp: 57 °C
HD temp: 44 °C
Dimm temp : 61-63 °C
