8600 Geforce FX5650
I recently was browsing thru the forums and found a thread talking about drivers for GF FX 5650. Most people recommmended the 5.6.6.3 and I downloaded that and it works great like the thread said.. faster and cooler. But now after playing a while i just notice a problem. Everytime the fan kicks in the screen flashes black and reverts back to normal. It's not really a big deal but it gets really annoying since the fan kicks off and on often.

I am using the 61.80s and am not having any issues at all, all my games run smooth and temps remain normal.......
Specs 8600 1.7, 128 Nvidia 5650FxGo, 768Mb 333DDR, 60 Gig Hd, 15.4 WSXGA+, 1300 Wireless, 4xDVDR+RW

dou you have a benchmark result for your new driver ( my 3DMARK03 is 2700 ) ? , i`m planing to update to 56.72 since a long time , but still stuck with dell original because i was suspecting your kind of issue...
have you try FAR CRY from ubisoft with your i8600 ( new driver ) ?
