Dell sent me a replacement power adapter for my inspiron 8600 but its a 65w not a 90w. is this going to be a problem?

If your original Inspiron 8600 was outfitted with a 90w brick, your system needs it.  If you try to use the 65w component, there is a good chance the computer will post and warn "you are using an incorrect power supply".  I have three 8600's and two use 65w while the other the 90w.  It just depends on how the systems are outfitted.  Obviously the 90w provides a higher power level from your 110-120v through the transformer to the notebook.  Dell will probably replace with the correct power brick and connectors if within your service contract or warranty.
