8600 sxga+ screen identification?

Hi forum members!

I just got my 8600 system, and I would really like to know what make mu screen is (samsung or hitachi).

I have tried the 3 methods described in this thread: http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=insp_video&message.id=101093 , but none of them work for me.

1. I can't get the dell system configuration utitlity on the website to work. (I ordered from Denmark, which means that my system was assembled in Ireland)

2. I can only find a "default monitor" in windows registry - none of the manufacturer strings are found

3. Neither rivatuner, powerstrip or sisoft sandra can find my monitor as anything els than "default monitor"

Does anyone know of another way to try and figure out which screen I have?
