9100 adapter short

Question

I've tried igo but they don't have the tip for a 9100.  I can't get my adapter to charge the laptop at all.  Should/could i just buy another one? those things are honkers.  It's the part of the cord that you can't just unplug from the box part.

If you are within warranty, you might be able to call Dell to get a replacement.

The same thing happened to mine, I had to buy another one.  I found one for around $70.
