Adding new memory to Latitude D620
Hello,
I'm likely going to be purchasing additional memory for Latitude D620 shortly and have a few quick questions, which follows my system's information below:
Genuine Intel(R) CPU
T2500 @ 2.00 GHz
2.00 GHz, 1.00 GB of RAM
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
The laptop was delivered to me in August 2006 and has been great but it isn't as quick to perform any function as it was in the past. Disk defragmentation and other utilities don't improve the situation that much, so I imagine that 1.00 GB of RAM isn't enough anymore.
As installed, I have "Dual inline memory module, 1 GB, 667, 128 x 64, 8K, 200." What does "8K" mean? And, to the best of anyone's knowledge, would this RAM be CL4 or CL5?
Thanks in advance!

It's CL-5. The system has two memory sockets - it looks like one is empty (the one that's not is probably the one under the keyboard, but if you see a module under the compartment at the bottom of the system, it means the one under the keyboard is the empty one).
