Adjust small fonts under high resolution - using DPI or appearance setting?
Hi,
Too bad as I'm getting older and eyes are not as good as before. My question is about which is the correct way for adjusting/enlarging smaller fonts under high resolution (1680 x 1050) - will it be using DPI setting or the Font Size setting under Appearance of Display Properties?
My purpose is to have larger fonts across all Windows menu bars and so on.
Many thanks in advance/

Hi,
Seems no one knows or won't care to share :(
Reducing resolution worked for earlier monitor but seems don't work for wide screen. My first attempt is to reduce resolution but quality turned out to be unbearable.

Can someone answer this? I'm having the same problem. I have a problem reading certain programs even at 1280x800 on my XPS m140. When I increase the dpi, fonts don't look right anymore. Is there a comprehensive (one stop) solution? I would be willing to decrease the resolution, but the Dell laptop display doesn't seem to offer a widescreen resolution less than 1280x800.
Thanks in advance.
