Hi Royan,

The problem is rectified after installing the intel video driver which is located under the video category in the dell website. Thank you.. :)

Hi Mshanthosh,

Welcome to the Community. I guess you do not have the Quickset drivers installed. You can download them from support.dell.com. Click on Drivers and Downloads, select your system model, you will find Quickset under Applications. Please add your system model when posting on the forum, so we could have given you the direct link. to install the Quickset.

Hope this helps.

Thank you

Royan

Im using Windows XP(32 bit) in my Dell Latitude E5420 laptop. I'm unable to find the Quickset drivers under Application category in the support.dell.com website. Could please give the direct link to download it.

Hi Mshanthosh,

I do not see a Dell Quickset under this model. Press the F2 key at the Dell Logo on startup to boot to the Bios, move down to post behaviour and press enter, move to keyboard embedded and press enter, and check FN key only, Esc, and save changes and exit. Check if that works.

Thank you

Royan

Hi Royan,

I enabled the FN key only check box on startup to boot to the Bios. But it doesn't work. There is no problem with FN key. Because when I press FN + Print Scrn(End & Print Scrn shares the same key), I'm able to get the screen shot. But the keys for adjusting brightness is not working.

Thanks

Santhosh
