AMD Radeon HD 6470m
Hello
im wondering about my AMD video card Vram, on my laptop (dell inspiron n5110) it shows me that i have 512MB ram. but i can see other laptops have 1GB ram with the same card
is there anyway i can level up my Vram to 1GB !?
i have core i5 2410m
8gb ram

Thanks for posting!
From the information I've read, it does not appear that the AMD 2410 can be upgraded to 1GB, however the AMD Radeon HD 6470M does support this upgrade, and was an option available on the inspiron n5110.

The upgrade however would require a new mainboard - the video RAM cannot be separately upgraded.

but actually my card its not AMD 2410, its AMD Radeon HD 6470M.
here is my Laptop Specification:
Inspiron N5110
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
8192MB RAM
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
(AMD Radeon HD 6470M)
500GB HD
i wana to know how could be the same card on other laptops has 1GB vRam like some of hp pavilion,
and on my laptop is 512Mb

well i know, but im talking about the same card how could have 2 types of Ram !? one 512mb and the other 1GB

There are several different mainboards for the N5110. All of them have the GPU and RAM soldered to the board, regardless of whether the GPU is AMD or nVIdia.
Unlike the system RAM, the video RAM isn't mounted in sockets so it is not upgradeable.
