Audio and docking with e-port plus
I have a new Precision M2400 laptop and a e-port plus docking staion.
And I cannot receive sound from my external speaker (dell ax510 sound bar).
I do have sound from the M2400 speakers both undocked and docked to the e-port plus.
The speaker has power (light in center of speaker is "on") -- speakers are powered from the monitor and plugged into the e-port plus speaker receptacale located on the bottom left of the e-port plus. I get "static" sound thru the speakerswhen plugging the green plug into the e-port plus
Is there a switch or software setting that needs to be turned on?

Hi, I have the same problem with an M6400 in an E-Port normal replicator. Audio plays fine until I plug the speakers into the jack on the side of the port. Then the audio through the laptop speakers goes silent but nothing comes out of the docking jack. If I plug the speaker cable directly into the latop, I do get sound. This unit is running Vista Business. Any ideas? Thanks!
