Audio output device removed
I have a Vostro 1510. I somehow removed my audio output device and no longer have sound. I tried going to the drivers and downloads page to see if I could download a new device and attempted to download the Realtek that was provided, but when I tried to install it, it stated I did not have a driver installed. I also already have the realtek on my computer, and when I click on that it won't work because it says no audio devices are installed. What do I need to do to get sound back?
Thank you

Hi Rachel.lindhart,
Welcome to Dell Community
As per the information provided by you, it seems accidently the sound drivers might have been deleted.
Kindly try a System Restore to the date and time when the sound was working fine, as per the steps listed in the link below (You may change the Windows Operating System as per one installed on your computer):

In case still there is no sound, we might need to install the compatible Audio drivers as per the Windows Operating system installed from the factory on the computer.
Kindly reply with the findings. Glad to help
