AverNedia TV USB 2 Plus Problems
Has anybody else purchased one of these great devices with thier 8600.
I did and have spent more hours trying to get the stupid thing to work. Followed the instructions, as usual. Insatll software, then drivers. Reset machine and then plug device in. Activate icon and what...... Microsoft failure message.
Rang Aver technical support who said..... unistall drivers leaving the device connected. Then restart machine. Machine will find hardware and load drivers. It work. But that was yesterday. Today it doesn't.
In the mood to phone DELL up and say take the stupid thing back.
Anybody else having similair problems?????

Problem solved - It took many hours to realise that the manual that comes with the unit is next to useless. There is a manual on line on the website which is completley different to the one shipped with the unit. Do they tell you this???? No.
Follow the install instructions off the web and it should work.

Rubbish. Worked on install, rebooted doesn't work. Have asked for refund.
