Beep sound
Hi i am using dell inspiron 1440 since five years.. Today i am as usual i am started my laptop nut i am getting beep sound... And it started well but i am observed in my laptop keyboard "g" character is not working..
Aft one hour i am restart my notebook and select f12 and i select diagnostics and there i see a error code:2000-0143 lcd cable is not detected..!
But my laptop is turning on...!
Y it display that error and why "g" character is not worked in keyboard
Please reply me fast...!

Beep codes can mean a thing or 2 like bird sounds.
check what is wrong first by listening to the number of beeps.

Hi Peddareddy,
I would suggest you to try flashing the BIOS on the system. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the operating system, and then download the BIOS from the BIOS section onto the system and install it.

Yours is hard drive problem 2000- 0143.

If I were you. I would take the simple romantic route. Do a full factory installation from the USB that you would have prepared when you received- that's your savior. alternatively install all fresh operating system and dell drivers. If your disk needs replacement it will be known at the start of this operation.
Certain dell drivers if not used for very long can cause havoc when a new element is introduced to dell.
eg multi card reader.
Good luck Dell is in cloud not at Hindia.

Hi Peddareddy,
It seems like the hard drive is failing. Also, I would suggest you to contact a local computer technician wherein you will need to remove and reseat the LCD cable on the system.
