better battery
i currently have a inspiron 2650. with the following battery in it.
mod: bat 3151L8
dell p/n 8F867
out: 14.8v ==== 3900mAh
it only last about 2hr.
is there a better battery i can get.

Rollie,
I purchased a 2650 for my parents and in 11/02. They love it and have a great time on the INTERNET. As might be expected the battery is dieing.
Since they never use the computer in a mobile format, i.e., they are always connected to AC this is not a big deal. However, the computer keeps going into "hibernate". How can I get the computer to, ignore the dead battery, stop going into hibernate and operate on AC alone?
