If you set your screen to a non-native resolution, you can use Fn+F7 on some Inspiron models to toggle between a stretched and tiled display. The tiled display leaves black borders around the screen.
Fn+Z forces your BIOS to re-read your temperatures, and is usually used if your fans are on continually, to diagnose problems in your BIOS.
