blinking orange
hi
i searched through some forums, and it appears that the blinking orange for the battery indicator means that my battery is dead. But i have a spare one, and i popped that one in, and it's still blinking orange. any reason why?
My spare battery, i never use, unless i have to. my main battery is always in the bay, unless i have to use my spare. haha...
Anyways, i replaced my main battery with my spare one, and it is still blinking orange.

There is also the possiblity that it's the battery contact on the mainboard that is faulty.

on my Dead battery, every other green light blinks if i press the button on the battery. On my spare battery, all the lights blink indicating that it is full.
maybe, im going to restart my laptop and that might make it better =)
hopefully, it's nothing to do with the mother board.. eek

If the system still misreads the battery, power off, remove the battery, and hold the power switch for a few seconds. Try again.
If the system still misreads the battery, chances are there's an internal problem, most likely with the mainboard.
