Start with the Dell diagnostics - F12 at boot. Run the extended test on the RAM and the hard drive.

I ahve the same problem but on my desktop Dell Model 8300 sometimes it will work for two weeks with no problem and then problems all day long???

Yes I've starting with the Dell diagnostics, runing the extended test on the RAM and the hard drive and all it's Ok when the notebook is ok. But if running the test, after the blue screen, have a problem in hard disk and not running the system (Windows XP pro). Si ya he hecho todo tipo de test (Dell diagnostics, scandisk...etc) y sale que todo está bien. Pero cuando sale el pantallazo azul es cuando me da un problema en el disco duro y no carga el sistema operativo (Windows XP pro). Have ocurred after 2-3 hours of swicth on, (1 month ago, 5-6 hours) and not problem with temperature (I'm run the progam speedfan and the temperature it's alreadry of 40-42º-Celsius-) Ocurre después de estar funcionando al cabo de 2-3 horas, (hace 1 mes era cada 5-6 horas) y no es un problema de temperatura (He controlado la temepratura con el progama speedfan y la temepratura ronda los 40-42º). 1 day after, the notebook runnin OK on 1-2 hours until again repeat this process. Al cabo de un día, el ordenador funciona bien durante 1-2 horas, hasta que se repite de nuevo el proceso. It's possible error or problem any software? hardware? Any Knows? Es posible un error provocado por software? hardware? Alguien sabe? Excuse me, but my english is little poor, sorry and thanks for help me!
