Bluetooth Manager is missing! help

Seems like I might've accidentaly deleted the bluetooth manager, so now it will not start automatically unless I click on "Bluetooth Information" and cancel out. I've already tried to reinstall the software but it only gives me an option to remove completely the Bluetooth hardware.

How can I restore the bluetooth icons and start up to its original configuration? I'm unable to use the system restore since this happened so long ago and only started using the bluetooth now. Help!

What computer do you have? Otherwise, go to Support.dell.com, enter your service tag number, and download the Bluetooth drivers and software and reinstall.

I have a Dell D620 XP Pro. When I try to download new drivers for it, all it allows me to do is to remove the bluetooth :(

That is fine. You need to go through the process. Once you uninstall, reinstall the driver. It may involve clicking on the file again to get it going. Once the file has installed, reboot.

Unfortunately, the instructions that Dell provides on the driver-download page are incorrect. There is no mention of the fact that the installation process actually begins with the uninstall of the software. Perhaps if Dell posted the right instructions, folks trying to update their Bluetooth wouldn't be so confused (and freaked out, as I was), and wouldn't have to ask for help in the forum.

Thanks everybody for your help! Just like you said I had to UNINSTALL it and reinstall it to make it work. Go figure why they dont give good instructions. I didnt want to attempt to call Dell support line as its the worst I've seen, but am very glad to find some helpful people here :)

Thanks again
