bottom base latch
Alas I dropped my Inspiron 4000 and now the screen doesn't catch and hold on the bottom base latch. What is the part number for the latch? Is is hard to replace? Any suggestions? More specifically, I am not talking about the battery latches.

well check under system documentation to see if you can find a part number ... but call in on tech support and just ask for the part number and that's it...
