Take your mouse to the bottom right corner to activate the charms. Then click on Settings and then Change PC settings go to Wireless and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
Also make sure the switch is turn on the left side of your laptop.
Then goto Devices under PC Settings and then add a device.
I believe I have a Broadcom 370 Bluetooth. I looked on the original configuration, and as best I can see that is what I have. All it lists is a part number.
I will definitely try that. I have already tried the Broadcom solution and all I get is a message saying please plug in or turn on your wireless device. I can't do that if my computer can't find it.

To turn on the wireless switch, slide it from the rear
to the front of the computer until it clicks into place.
There is a switch on the left side towards the LCD

natakuc4 posted some Windows 8 bluetooth drivers on page 4 of this link that might work,
but ejn63 is right it would help to know what model dell computer you have and what bluetooth
module you have installed.

Okay I have the drivers installed and my device is showing up in device manager, but how do I access it? It is not showing on control panel.
