Caps Lock - Can't Type After Pressing It.
Before anyone says it, I am aware that there is a shift key but I am too used to Caps Lock...
I have had this computer for the past two months and just tonight about 3 hours ago, any time I pressed the Caps Lock key I get a delay for when I can type again.
The cursor is taken away from where I type. It is very annoying and I cannot think why it is doing this just now.
I have checked for driver updates and they have done nothing. I am on a Dell m501r.
Help would be appreciated.

Hi Roryh,
Welcome to the Community. I suggest you try disabling your startup programs for a minute and check if this happens. To disable starup, click on the start, run, type msconfig, click on the startup tab on top, and click on Disable All at the bottom, click on Apply and restart your computer.
Note: If it starts working after disabling the startup, the it could be one of the programs that's causing this, so you will need to go back to your startup, and check each program to see which program is causing this. Its not advised to disable your startup, as some programs and services like your Antivirus software need to startup when you log on to the computer.
If this does not work, I suggest you to back up your data, and try a system restore to an earlier date when it was working fine, or or you can restore your computer back to factory settings.

Hope this helps.
Thank you
