catalyst control center

Hi all,

My laptop is dell inspirion 5520 with core i5, 8GB memory and amd radeon HD 7670M.

When i bought adm radeon switchable graphic works ok.

Yesterday, I update the graphic driver. version is 8.933.3.4 from dell website.

previous version is 8.933.3.0.

After updating, catalyst control center can't load.

so, i roll back previous driver version but the catalyst control center can't load.

i think switchable graphic not work.

what should i do. Please help my problem.

Hi Thura,

I see that there is a new version of ATI driver as well as Intel driver on support site. Ensure that you uninstall the present drivers from the system and then update the Intel driver first and then the ATI driver. You may follow the steps below :

  • Click on Start -> Control Panel -> Uninstall a program (Windows 8 users press 'Windows' + 'X' button on keyboard and select Control Panel)
  • Uninstall the AMD catalyst control center and the Intel HD graphics drivers and restart the system
  • Now download/install the Intel drivers from Here
  • Download/Install ATI drivers from Here
  • Restart the computer when prompted.
