Cleaning / Maintenance
Hi there,
I have a Dell XPS M1530 using a 15" 1440x900 with TruLife. I was just wondering what you guys recommend i should clean the screen with? I have some Durable PC Clean Kit but i'm not sure whether or not to use it as im worried ill kill the screen.
Thanks,
Matt

Hello,
I use 'endust for electronics'.
I just spray a bit on a soft cloth and wipe the screen. It works great, and I have had no issues at all since I started using it years ago.

A soft cloth, lightly wet with some warm water, is all that's required really.

;^) I recommend getting a chamois from an auto care place. These are normally used for cleaning automobiles, but they'll do well for laptops too. Get a synthetic one instead of leather. You can trim it down to size and sandwich it between the screen and keyboard. This will also have the added bonus effect of protecting the screen from being scratched by the keys when the laptop is closed.
