I recommend you to remove the battery and disconnect the adapter, press and hold the power button for few seconds and release to drain the flea power. Now try to restart the computer.
Did you run diagnostics on the computer?
Restart the computer by holding the FN and Power button simultaneously. Let the diagnostics complete.
This is also happening to me. I hear a clicking sound and the start up screen freezes. When it eventually started yesterday I ran diagnostics and said all was fine but its not starting up today. Help please!
My Dell inspiron 15 R 3521 switching on problem, when i pressed power button it makes clicking sound and led doesn't on ... pls help me to solve this problem
I have the same problem, this letting out FLEA energy worked once, but went back to clicking again the next time i tried powering up. Installing windows 10 now, and will be stuck in limbo till this stupid thing shuts up. I called Dell about this when it happened, was transferred to SIS or some such thing, was talked into buying a new extended warranty and help when i need it...ran me over 200 dollars, and they never did fix the damned thing. Can anyone help?

Single click likely means a bad mainboard. Multiple clicking likely means a bad hard drive.
