Computer won't accept Keyboard input either from hardware or screen

My wife has an Inspirion i5 7352.  She handed it to me to look at a networking problem, but for some reason, the PC will accept no input except from the mouse.  Since I rebooted her PC to fix another issue, no KB input is accepted, so I am unable to get past the logon screen to do any further diagnostic.

Help!

Hi Madhurojim

Thanks for writing to us.
Have you tried using an external keyboard? If the issue is same with an external keyboard then looks to be a software issue. If an external works then the internal keyboard looks to bbe faulty.

Do provide us your system tag#, email address and name via private message,by clicking on my name in blue and then select send a private message
