connecting to LCD
I want to connect my Inspiron 1500 laptop to a new LCD TV
The inspiron 1500 has a VGA (female) output and so does the TV so I got the right cable and hooked it up but the TV says unsupported video - the laptop says the second monitor is inactive.
What cables to I need to get this to work
The TV has HDMI slots also.

In looking for a manual for the Inspiron 1500, Dell's website doesn't show that as a choice.
