CPU/GPU temperatures
I bought a Dell Inspiron 17r Special Edition last year around December, i purchased it for mostly gaming and general usage. I recently just bought Battlefield 4 and playing it on medium graphics, along with setting the maximum processor state to about 70% or 75% depending on the need. this is causing the temperatures of my CPU range from 87 degrees Celsius up to a max of 90-91 degrees Celsius.
My question?
temperatures reaching to about 85 degrees Celsius up to 90-91 degrees Celsius and remaining at those temperatures, is it safe for such temperatures to remain for 20 minutes or even in excess of 1 hour or more during game-play.I am concerned about the life expectancy of my CPU and GPU. I am unaware of the loads a 3rd Gen Processor can handle and for how long before it causes damage or will affect the life or performance of my laptop over the upcoming weeks, months or possible years.
