CRCDISK.SYS
HELP - my XPS M1330 has been working fine until I turned it on yesterday morning. It shows a brief windows screen and then a BSOD leading to an infinite reboot loop. Safe mode says "CRCDISK.SYS" is the last driver attempted so I am assuming the error is there. All attempts to system repair/restore have failed. I have not made any hardware or BIOS changes, but my Zune was plugged in and an Adobe Updater may have been running at the time of shutdown. Any ideas?

I had my Vostro 1700 halting at CRCDISK.SYS when booting. I changed following settings in the Bios and after that everything worked smooth:
Onboard Devices\Flash Cache Module - set to Off
Onboard Devices\SATA Operation - set to ATA
Best regards

I have a Inspiron 1525 using Vista, after using F2 on boot to get to bios, made chages listed by lunnern.
Computer got past the CRCDISK, I then ran startup repair. Longest I waited between screens and run bars was 3 min. so if your waiting around to see what happens past 5 min, it probably didn't work. I have been at this for a day and half.
