D600 - Issue when connecting/disconnecting the port replicator

The speed remains low when not working on the replicator, even if when I run "heavy" programs.

Also, When simply connecting the D600 to DC power, the speed does not rise in any situation.

Is this normal? the processor is A centrino (pentium 4m) processor.
