D620 power issue
Hey all:
Looking for some insight to a strange power related problem with my D620. I purchased a new battery some months ago, and it all worked fine after installing the new battery. Strange thing now is that the laptop will only turn on if plugged into external power, not on battery power. Nothing, no blinking lights, no response at all.
The LED battery gauge is fully charged with all green lights, laptop works normal when plugged in and the battery power is showing at 100%. But, when I pull the power cord out, it goes dark. After plugging back in, it goes through a completely fresh boot cycle like it was turned off.
Any suggestions?

I would suggest you to troubleshoot battery using link given below:

Also, update BIOS using link given below:

NOTE: Battery should be more than 30% charged. Ensure System does not turn off during BIOS update process.
