DataSafe Local Backup and Recovery Software error
Dear Dell Technical support !
On 9/9th I have purchased and downloaded the Dell DataSafe Local Backup and Recovery Software in to my Dell Inspiron 5521R and I hope it’s activated now. But when I try to upgrade the DSL software to premium version there is no yellow button to upgrade in the left side though, I assume it is activated now.Consequently, I tried to backup my system, some features are inactive and I have given details below for your easy review.
I am so confused as to why my machine happened to be like this for this software ONLY ?? ! On Dell’s recommendation, even I have installed IOLO System Mechanic and the machine in tip top operation, no glitches, hiccups ever - nothing.
Windows Experience Index prove it by giving 7.8 / 7.8 /6.5 / 6.9 / 6.9 in points.
Pertaining to DSL Interface :
1. Create recovery media :This feature is inactive and none of the 2 feature buttons are active.
2. Full System Backup :When run it says an error occurred and try later and the process is in 1% for ever.
3. File and folder back up :It works perfectly.
My details of the machine are :
Operating system : windows 7 ultimate service pack 1
Machine : Dell Inspiron 15 R 5520
Please resolve this issue.
