i have a dell 1150 inspiron laptop,,unit powers up ,but nothing on screen,tried externalmonitor,and replacing screen itself,nothing works,is there something else to try.
I'm assuming from your post that video isn't showing on the external monitor when you tried it? Or did it? If it isn't working on an external monitor then ejn63 is probably right, you need to replace the system board. If it is, and you replaced the LCD screen as well then it could be a loose connection on the video cable. Or bad connection.

The next step probably makes no economic sense - replace the mainboard.
