Dell 3543 battery or adapter error

I use a Dell 3543 from April 2015 to date. Recently I met the state is about 1 time machine I will not get charged. When I check the LED on the AC adapter in Windows is still bright but not getting power. It uses only battery. I pulled out and reinsert charging many times, but still the same. I pulled out the battery and charging only use the power supply operating normally. Windows displays battery showed machines and are using power. I plug the battery into the normal machine operation. So what happened to reason my machine. It faulty battery or AC adapter error. Looking forward to the help.
