Dell c810 battery issue

Don't mean to be redundant; all of a sudden my c810 will not charge past 20-25%. Purchased refurbed laptop in July, came with a battery that lasted about 1 hour, going from 100% to 50% in about 20-30 min. Gave that battery away with another dell that I owned. Bought "new" made in china battery of Ebay ran great up until 3 days ago. Now when I plug in AC adapter, light comes on for about 5-6 min then goes out. System says "charging" but it never goes over 24% except once when it made it to 40% then stopped for 2 hours. Replacing battery again isn't really a problem, replacing motherboard is out of the question.

If you take the battery out and push the little button what lights come on?

Reason I ask is the lights should show the amount of charge in your batt, but if some are flashing or any other color than green I think your battery is trash.  I'm having battery problems too, so don't feel bad.  Mine is just old and won't hold a charge anymore so my laptop lasts about 20 minutes on its battery.
