Dell laptops are junk
My wife bought me this laptop for Christmas last year, it was the 4th computer we had bought from Dell. I have spent untold hours on the phone and the support websight trying to get it working. I have replaced the hard drive twice and wiped the disc, reloading the software more times than I can remember. I have given up on ever getting this thing to work correctly and buy an HP. I just want everyone to understand than Dell is junk and not to waste thier money.

I have owned/operated 3 Dell Laptops (a Precision, an XPS and an Inspiron) in an AutoCAD consulting environment and I find your claim of "Dell is junk" doesn't apply at all!
But then again maybe I got lucky?

Our company has owned about 15 Latitude notebooks and as many Opti-Plex desktops over the past 5 -6 years operating in a hot, dusty, tough enviroinment. I have not had more than five service calls in all that time. You bought four of them so you're either wrong and you purchased the exception or you're a slow learner - I think it's the former.

My Inspiron 1545 has been chugging along for over a year and a half without a glitch!
