Dell Latitua E6410 not working
I just purchased a new Latitude E6410. once I inserted the power plug, the battery light started flasing in blue & orange, the fan was also working. when i pushed the power button(which was lit), the computer was not working. I could open the cd case though. the screen was still off.
I tried removing the battery and plugging the power cord again. the power light was only lighning blue & still the power button(also lit) was not functioning.
after a couple of tries of installin & de-installing the battery. once I inserted the power plug, the power button is no longer lighting.
Appreciate any help offered.

Call Dell and have the system exchanged for a new one -- there's no sense having a brand-new system repaired.

I am having the same issue. just opened the box yesterday. I installed some apps last night then shut it down overnight. I could not get it to turn on this morning. The power light comes on for about 5 seconds and shuts off.
Could you tell me what the cause was (or what was done to resolve it)?
