Dell Media Direct software??
Hey There I have the Dell Vostro 1500 with win xp pre installed. Finally After a few years I have formatted and reinstalled windows all cleaned and better. Problem is I don't see dell media direct on cd that came with system. How am I suppose to get software for my system that I once had working before. Thanks for any help or info pointing for a dload link if possible.

Hi,
Welcome to the Community. You will need to reformat your hard drive, and install Dell Media Direct first, before installing Windows XP. Use the below link for help. You should have got the Dell Media Direct Cd together with your computer.

Hi Thanks well redoing everything is not going to be an option now...lol. Yet I did get the dell drivers and utilities cd with pre-installed win xp I do not even see the media part on it. It was on system when purchased (minus a few options I upgraded and paid for yet never received) until I formatted. I really hope there is an easier way besides hours upon hours of doing system over again for this option let alone lost $300 in options I never received and paid for on this system. Thanks
