Dell n5110 Keyboard Issue

My dell n5110 screen died and I replaced it. After replacing it the keyboard doesn't work. I ordered a replacement keyboard thinking it might the keyboard itself, but the new keyboard isn't working either. I did the diagnostics test by holding power while plugging in the computer. Everything passed except the battery and screen. The battery wasn't in and I couldn't use the keyboard to hit "y" for yes, as all colors showed up.

My next guess is that it is the driver, however, I cannot find a keyboard driver anywhere. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi maslan817,

Welcome to the Community.

Keyboard does not require any driver to perform basic functions. I would suggest you to restart the computer and tap F12 key to access One Time Boot Menu. In case the One time Boot Menu does not show up,the port where the keyboard is connected may have got damaged while replacing the LCD.

I would also suggest you to plugin the keyboard again using the service manual link mentioned below:
