Dell or Degee????
Recently I want to buy a laptop to watch video and keep some films. I hesitate between Dell Inspiron
Mini 10 and the Degee Latest 10.2'' Intel Atom D425 Mini Laptop.
Dell Inspiron Mini 10: about $345, Processor: N455 1.66GHz/667Mhz FSB/0.5 MB; System Memory
DDR3 2GB *1, Graphic: Integrated Intel@ Graphics Media Accelerator 3150; Display: 10.1" WSVGA
WLED; Hard Drive:250G; weight 1.2kg.
Degee Mini Latop: about $254, Processor: Intel Atom D425 1.8GHz; System Memory DDR2 Max to
2GB*1; Graphic: Intel GMA X3150; Display 10.2" wide-screen 1280*600 WXGA; Hard Drive: Max to
320G; Weight:1.2kg.
Anyone can give me some suggestion? Thanks :-)

These aren't laptops - they're netbooks -- and as such they are the wrong choice for videos. You need a true notebook -- not a netbook -- for this purpose.

They're all more alike than different - and they're all made by three manufacturers, regardless of the name on the outside. Choose whatever you like best.
The are, as I noted, NOT suited to video work - that is the one big thing they cannot do well.

Oh...I am not quite familiar with the Digital Items...I think you are right. What I need is netbook. I just want to use it to deal some light-work for example the Word, Excel and keep some files, the movies and musics. My budget is about $350. I have some brands in my considering...Dell, Sony, Acer,Samsung and Degee. Can any guy give me some suggestion of the specific type of netbook? Very thanks :-)

Thanks for your suggestion. I will try to find a netbook suitable. Of course if any buddy can give me some help I will be very appreciate. I just want to use it for keeping some documents, pictures and watching some movies, some interesting games(little games). I would preter the pixels can be higher, which can make my eyes comfortable when I watching movies and pictures. thanks. By the way my budget is about $350. :emotion-1:

You keep shifting your application requirements. If you plan on watching movies, a netbook is not suitable. With that budget, buy a desktop system - you will not be happy with a notebook at that price point.
