Dell Precision M4700 keyboard backlight
I have a Dell Precision M4700 and am trying to use the keyboard backlight.
The problem is that even a short pause in typing, the keyboard backlight goes out. (about 5-6 seconds). It does not go on until I hit another key, (which then types that character, which I then have to erase).
Is there a way to set the keyboard backlight delay to a longer setting?

Thanks for your post.
The Dell Feature Enhancement Pack provides extensions for keyboard backlight settings. You can download it here.
Once installed, you will simply go into Windows' 'keyboard properties' then click on the 'Backlight' tab. You'll see the below settings.
