Dell Studio 1535 weak screen.

I just purchased a Dell Studio 1535 with the 320-6869Hi Resolution/Bright, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch WLED display (1440x900) display (Not the standard) and 320-6516ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 3450 video card.

My issue is that during the Windows installation part of the screen around the middle was acting up as if someone was touching it (color distortion). The same thing happens if you put your hand in any bottom corner behind the screen (as if you were carrying it around). 

My question for other Studio users is: Has anyone else experienced this? Is the screen just to thin and any kind of pressure affects the display or should I contact Dell and request a refund or exchange.
