I just upgraded laptop Dell Studio 1555 from Vista to w10 and downgraded to Windows 8.1 and now I have no network.

The network adapter Broadcom Netlink (TM) Gigabit ethernet alone show up in Device Manager, but Network and Sharing Center sees no network adapter.

Device Manager even reports "Device is working properly".

When it was on Vista, there were no issues. The moment Windows 10 was installed, the wifi was working sometimes. Later when i changed it to Windows 8.1, it totally stopped. All drivers are updated. Here, the wifi hardware itself is not showing in device manager

It will be really helpful if you can throw a guidance on how to rectify it.
