Dell Studio 1558 Model 2010

Dear people,

Ever since I bought this Dell Studio 1558 back in 2010 I was not impressed with it's speed during boot. It often take about 2 minutes before the system is ready. The system is running the default Dell Win7 Home 64b operating system.

Last year I had the opportunity to re-install the laptop and I did that with a Win7 Home 32b version and I had the impression that this worked much better. Because this was a version I had installed already on another PC I had to re-install the Original Win7 Dell Home 64b on the laptop and again the system is much slower.

I wonder if there are people who have the same experience and if there are people who have suggestions on what to do to fix it.
