Dell Studio Touch Screen Laptop

appears at the present time has discontinued touch laptops -- looking through the clearance rack so to speak -- finding it confusing to determine which units might still offer the touch screen -- does anyone which models may have had a touch screen as a standard choice -- or whether touch screens were limited to a certain screen size, i.e, 17- inch, etc. -- finally am I correct that the touch screen is like the touch screen would give me the ability to use a digital pen on the screen for writing recognition and the like? -- thx and a good new year to one and all

Dell currenlty offers quite a few touch screen models, Including the new Inspiron Duo.  I did a search for "touch screen" on dell.com and came up with the following link.

Most of the touch screens will be compacitive so you will also want to choose a compacitive touch stylus.

Here is a link to a wiki on compacitive screens.
