Dell Vostro 1500 battery not functioning right
Recently my computer has been saying that no battery is detected, but it is working because it stays alive after I unplug it for about an hour... The battery life has also gone down since this happened... From 3-4 hours to a little over an hour... Help me! D:

Unless there are other issues - such as failure to charge or failure of the system to recognize the AC adapter - the battery needs to be replaced. It's probably about 2-3 years old - and that's about the lifespan of a lithium ion battery.
