DELL VOSTRO 330 HELP Needed
Hi I have Dell Vostro 330. MY mother board cannot detect any drive on sata port 0 and 1. I cannot find new motherboard as your company does not make one. I was thinking if I could buy USB to Sata connector and connects external hard drive as an internal one to make the vostro running. Is there any other solutions expect changing the motherboard.

Hi Dinesh0012,
If you are connecting a Hard drive Sata connector to an external USB port, change the Boot priority to USB Storage device.
Restart the computer and tap F2 at Dell logo. Now select ”Boot”. Under Boot change the 1ST boot priority to USB Storage Device.
If you have not contacted expired warranty services for part replacement, click the link below for contact number (US customers):

Awaiting your response!

Hey Rajesh
Thanks for answering. I did not realize you tried to help me. I installed Window 7 on harddrive and then boot it through USb to Sata connector. As soon as it shows the window 7 screen it freezes and blue screen appears. The blue screen disappears so fast that I can not tell you what it says.
What a crappy motherboard? What is my others solution?
