Dell XPS 17 keeps using wrong GPU.

When I play games, my laptop keeps using the intel integrated graphics for my games.  I can tell, because the games are horribly slow, and very jaggedy.  When I use my HDMI cable to connect to my TV the laptop forces itself to use the nVidia GPU- but that's the only way I can enjoy my games which is really depressing, since this is a laptop after all.

There are some games that are exceptions.  Some games also don't even detect my nVidia GPU..

How can I make my laptop run the nVidia GPU by default?

Still having the same problem.. can't I just get rid of the Intel GPU? I want it to only run the Invidia one.  I can't play Skyrim without using an HDMI cable.
