Did i order the correct Specs??
Hello Guys, My first time posting other than trying to get a few answers about my Laptop, thats not eve here yet. Ordered 8/18 Has not arrived as of today 9/3. It might be read to go out for shipment today. I would just like to know if if i ordered the correct specs or if i over killed. Here are my specs for XPS M1530. Thanks in Advance !! I will use this laptop for Ebay, games, and Gambling (Texas Holdem) and e-mails. I am retired so i do not need this for teaching or school anymore, so it would just be for pleasure...........Thanks!

No such thing as overkill! More Juice!
When I ordered mine it was like a kid in a candy store and couldn't help ordering the best of everything, even a built in wireless hub device that I've used maybe twice. The thing that reall got me though, as only a month or two later they had something a bit faster. GRRR I suppose thats the nature of the beast. The 256 Card should stand up to some pretty demanding games if you adjust the settings for graphics, etc.

Congratulations on your choice - it's a marvelous machine. Just ensure you buy the extended warranty and don't open any emails from strangers.
You now (or in a few days) will own one of the most powerful, personal computers in the world. It'll take anything you can dish out.
My Dad, also a retiree, originally planned on just using for email but has now become the family photo retoucher. He's put his big hard drive to use and has restored hundreds of family photos. He uses Adobe Photoshop Elements - a very easy program to learn.
